From concept stage, commerciality was at the forefront of the design, every penny spent needed to represent a return on investment & translate to increased average spend & transaction volumes.
We created a customer flow with strategically placed ambient merchandisers, allowing customers to meander through the shop whilst encouraging impulse purchases.
We wanted to create a comfortable & inviting environment & lighting design was key to achieving it. Contrasting against a matte black ceiling we installed 4500k white spot lights in the retail area, & 3000k pendant lights over the counter run, all running from a track system. We also installed solar film to the new full height glazed shopfront to regulate sunlight into the shop.
Refrigeration was an important part of this project & the heart beat of the shop. This before & after illustrates the importance of properly framing & displaying the product to make it more appealing to customers.
We created a number of new concepts within the shop, one of which was to move away from being a Cafe whilst still catering for loyal regulars. We replaced traditional, space hungry tables & chairs with two window facing breakfast bars.
This was a turnkey project over a 5 week fit-out schedule. Our works not only included the retail area but also a new shopfront, removing structural walls, complete electrical re-wire, replacement of coldrooms, preparation areas, staff room & toilets.
